PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI CUTI PEGAWAI BERBASIS WEB PADA BADAN PENGELOLA PAJAK DAN RETRIBUSI DAERAH (BPPRD) KOTA JAMBI

Abstrak

Cuti merupakan salah satu hak pegawai yang wajib diberikan oleh suatu instansi. Badan Pengelola Pajak dan Retribusi Daerah merupakan instansi yang bergerak di bidang pengelolaan pajak dan retribusi daerah. Sebuah instansi tentu memiliki pegawai, di mana pegawai-pegawai tersebut memiliki jenis hak cuti setiap tahunnya bagi pegawai yang telah menjalani masa kerja selama satu tahun penuh. Dalam sistem yang berjalan, proses pengajuan cuti masih bersifat manual menggunakan form kertas, kekurangan dari sistem yang berjalan ini membuat proses pengajuan cuti menjadi kurang efisien. Dengan permasalahan tersebut, sehingga harus dibuat Sistem Informasi Cuti Pegawai Berbasis Web. Dengan berbasis web, sehingga proses pengolahan cuti dapat dilakukan oleh Pegawai maupun atasan secara online yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Untuk metode penelitian menggunakan model Waterfall guna menciptakan sistem dengan pendekatan linier dan berurutan. Metode perancangan menggunakan UML (Unified Modeling Language) untuk menggambarkan rancangan sistem dan PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) dan Framework Laravel sebagai bahasa pemrograman dengan perancangan database MySQL. Untuk pengujian sistemnya menggunakan black box testing terhadap fungsional. Perancangan sistem informasi cuti pegawai berbasis web ini dapat meminimalisir kekurangan sistem yang berjalan saat ini, dan dapat mempermudah para pegawai melakukan proses cuti.

Leave is one of the employee rights aht must be given by an agency. The Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency is an agency engaged in the management of regional taxes and levies. An agency certainly has employees, where these employees have a type of leave right every year for employees who have worked for one full year. In the current system, the leave application process is still manual using paper forms, the shortcomings of this current system make the leave application process less efficient. With these problems, a Web-Based Employee Leave Information System must be created. With a web-based basis, the leave processing process can be carried out by employees and superiors online which is more effective and efficient. For the research method, the Waterfall model is used to create a system with a linear and sequential approach. The design method uses UML (Unified Modeling Language) to describe the system design and PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) and Laravel Framework as a programming language with MySQL database design. For system testing, black box testing is used for functionality. The design of this web-based employee leave information system can minimize the shortcomings of the current system, and can make it easier for employees to take leave.
