ANALISIS OBSERVASI KEGIATAN OLAHRAGA, PERAN GURU, DAN SARANA PRASARANA DI UPT SMP NEGERI 17 MEDAN

Observasi ini dilakukan di UPT SMP Negeri 17 Medan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK), peran guru, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, serta kondisi fasilitas sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui observasi langsung, wawancara, dan catatan lapangan. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa guru PJOK menggunakan strategi pembelajaran interaktif dengan pendekatan Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang mampu meningkatkan motivasi siswa. Aktivitas ekstrakurikuler di sekolah cukup beragam, seperti sepak bola, basket, voli, dan bulu tangkis, dengan dukungan yang baik dari sekolah dan orang tua. Fasilitas olahraga tersedia, meskipun masih terdapat keterbatasan jumlah peralatan, khususnya bola, sehingga perlu perawatan dan penambahan.
This observation was conducted at the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of SMP Negeri 17 Medan to determine the implementation of Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) learning, the role of teachers, extracurricular activities, and the condition of school facilities. The research method used was descriptive with a qualitative approach through direct observation, interviews, and field notes. The observation results indicate that the PJOK teacher uses an interactive learning strategy with a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach that is effective in increasing student motivation. Extracurricular activities at the school are quite diverse, such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, and badminton, with good support from the school and parents. Sports facilities are available, although there is still a limited amount of equipment, particularly balls, requiring maintenance and additions.
